Sis, Jonathan, and Jeremy,

My thoughts and prayers are with each of you as you progress through these trying times. Words just can't explain how we feel when losing someone that means the world to us but it is my prayer that God will grant you peace and grace beyond all human understanding and that He will lift you all up and carry you through this. I know, as much as you want Don back, you wouldn't want him to return to suffer again. I miss my dad terribly but would never want him back to hurt the way he did prior to his death. Hang on to the good thoughts, the good memories, and share them with each other. We know Don is with the Lord now. He has his new body that is perfect in every way...no pain and no cancer! He is dining with the Lord and all those we read about in the Bible and all his loved ones who have gone on before him. Won't it be wonderful to sit down with Noah, Adam, Eve, Moses, Don, my dad, and the Lord someday? Look forward to the day you will be reunited with your dad, husband, and best friend.

Love always,

Your brother and uncle

Dear Sister, Words cannot express the sympathy I feel for you during this time. My heart aches for your pain and the pain of your boys and all of Don's family.

The things that come to my mind when I remember Don is the way he always seemed to stay calm no matter what the situation and his pleasant and constant smile. I know Don was a strong Christian man and he will be missed greatly. But his memory will never fade. He will always be with you in your heart and even when you are feeling so alone, you will be able to think of the good times you shared. Just know that God is with you always and you can lean on Him. I am praying for you and Don's family throughout the day and night. Even though I have been through this, I know that every situation is different and we all handle things differently. I pray for strength throughout the coming days and months for you. All my love, your little sister, Sherry
