David "D.H." Ruminer, 83, of Mountain View, Arkansas passed away on October 23, 2012 in Melbourne, Arkansas. He was born on February 3, 1929 to Charley and Louella (Stroud) Ruminer in Mountain View, Arkansas. Mr. Ruminer was of the Pentacostal faith and a retired truck driver.
He is survived by two sons, Calvin Ruminer and David Sonny Ruminer both of Jonesboro, Arkansas; two daughters, Louella Ruminer Ables and husband Bob of Jonesboro, Arkansas and daughter Myra Ruminer of Jonesboro, Arkansas; one sister Vicy Ruminer Vanover of Mountain View, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Christopher Ables and wife Kera of Cabot, Arkansas and April Ruminer of Jonesboro, Arkansas; one great-grandchild, Kaden Ables of Cabot, Arkansas.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Charley and Louella (Stroud) Ruminer; sister, Tillar Ruminer Britton; four brothers, George Ruminer, Floyd "Dude" Ruminer, Lloyd "Jack" Ruminer, and Hoyt Ruminer; two grandsons, Charles Junior Ruminer and Seth Ruminer; one great-grandson, Joshua Arner Ables.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, October 24, 2012, 6-8PM at the Roller Coffman Chapel in Mountain View, Arkansas. Services will take place on Thursday, October 25, 2012, 2:00PM, at the Mount Joy Holiness Church in Mountain View, Arkansas. Officiating the service are Brother Donald Turner and Brother Tim Clark. Interment will follow the service at Mount Joy Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Cecil Ruminer, Henry Criswell, Glen Criswell, Leslie Griffith, Tim Clark, and Lonnie Turner. Honorary pallbearers are Donald Ray, Herman Dean Turner, and Charles Ray.
