Wanda Lea Avey, 79 of Mountain View, Arkansas entered into rest September 29, 2012 in Mountain View, Arkansas. Wanda was born June 8, 1933 in Mountain View, Arkansas to Johnny and Maye (Sisk) Smith. She was a member of Foothills Baptist Church. Wanda loved her flowers, enjoyed gardening, and sewing.
Wanda is survived by three daughters Debra Walker and husband Jim of Mountain View: Linda Sartain and husband Dan of Mountain View: Donna Ekart of Grove, Oklahoma: one brother Carl Smith and wife Diane of Mountain View: one sister Venita Chitwood of Hobart, Indiana: five grandchildren Sandra Walker Melton, Justin Luther, Brandon Conlin, Dalton Sartain, and Lexy Sartain: four great-grandchildren Colton Melton, Chase Melton, Trent Melton, and Ransom Luther.
She is preceded in death by her parents Johnny and Maye Smith; son Terry Avey: brother JC Smith: and sister Neva Hobbs.
Visitation is 6-8 pm Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at Roller Coffman Chapel, Mountain View, Arkansas.
Funeral Service is 11 am Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at Roller Coffman Funeral Home in Mountain View, Arkansas with Bro Don Strait and Bro. Kenny Kendrick officiating. Pallbearers are Henry Goodman, Chuck Melton, Stacey Avey, Dalton Sartain, Charles Ramsey, and Ronnie Anderson.
Roller Coffman Funeral Home, Mountain View, Arkansas is in charge of the arrangements.
Dear Family, I am so sorry and shocked to hear of Wanda's passing. She always had a smile on her face and loved to visit with everyone no matter where she was.
She will be missed for certain but rejoicing with the others in heaven. We will see her again. Your will be in my prayers and may the lord give each of you

Debbie, Sandy and Linda, Donna and family- I remember Wanda with her beautiful hair always fixed just right..... Her smile was always big and beautiful. She will be missed. My thought and prayers are with you all....

I am so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. She was such a sweet lady. I will never forget her, your Dad or your Grandma Avey. They were all sweet people, and they all were good christians, and are with God, and my parents having a wonderful time rejoicing our Lord!
