LaVerne Kendle Bell, 87 of New Blaine, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at her home. She was born on December 29, 1924 in Dell, Arkansas to her parents Kirby J. and Stella (Mooney) Cook. She was a seamstress and hairdresser, a member of the Delaware First Baptist Church, member of the Delaware First Baptist Quilting Club and a volunteer for the New Blaine Volunteer Fire Department.

LaVerne is preceded in death by her parents, Kirby and Stella Cook; her husbands Robert E. Kendle and Frank R. Bell; one sister Sybil; two brothers K.J. and Tom and one granddaughter Darcy.

LaVerne is survived by her daughters; Gloria Dwelle of Bismark, North Dakota, Wendy Case of Baytown, Texas, Robin Parker of New Blaine, Arkansas and Debbie Garroutte and husband David of New Blaine, Arkansas; one son Glenn Kendle and wife Naomi of Russellville, Arkansas; four sisters Jean, Janet, Carolyn and Patsy, one brother Jerry; and ten grandchildren, Tony Dwelle, Craig Dwelle, Dennis Dwelle, Amy Dwelle, April Kendle, Robin Kendle, Sadie Case, Rob Case, Crystal Dodds, Carrie Divin and numerous great-grandchildren.

Family will be holding a Memorial Service at the Delaware First Baptist Church at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.
