I don't alwaysgo on this site, but when I did today, I saw a familiar face. I'm late in posting this message, But I have fond memories of the Church of Christ in Paris and it's members. I'm sorry to learn that Pete is no longer with us, but I'm very sure that he's in a much, much better place.

I am very sorry that you have lost your dear loved in death. The pain, the grief, and the feelings of helplessness we feel when we loose someone close to us can seem unbearable. At such times, we need to go to God's word the Bible for comfort. Please read 2 Corinthians 1:3,4 as these verses will assure your heart of God's love for you. Also prayerfully read Acts 24:15 and notice the promised that is held is out to those that have fallen asleep in death.
