Lawrence Eugene Cozens, 87 of Paris, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 in Paris. He was born on May 26, 1925 in Cunningham, Kansas to his parents Ralph Victor and Wanda (McPeak) Cozens. He was retired from Cloyes Gear Company in Paris, was a United States Army Air Corp Veteran, a 32nd Degree Mason and a member of the First Baptist Church in Paris.
Lawrence is preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Wanda Cozens, his wife Doris (Zies) Cozens, one son Gary Cozens, one sister Dorothy Vines and one brother Warren Cozens.
Lawrence is survived by his son Larry Cozens and wife Jeanie of Gentry, Arkansas one sister Virginia Weedon of Wichita, Kansas, three grandchildren, Jennifer Cozens of Gentry, Arkansas, Victor Cozens and wife Jennifer of Centerton, Arkansas and Andrew Cozens and wife Tasha of Maumelle, Arkansas and three great-grandchildren, Avery Cozens, Presley Ann Cozens and Lyla Grace Cozens.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., on Thursday, September 20, 2012 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris
Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Friday, September 21, 2012 at First Baptist Church in Paris officiated by Bro. Clyde Vire and Bro. Tommy Hinson. Burial will be in Baxley Cemetery in Paris under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Charlie Hampton, Bentley Allen, Leon Askins, Doyle Benson, Rolla ''Spec'' Breed and Dr. Max Crow.
Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church in Paris, 311 East Main St., Paris, AR 72855

Your Dad was my first trainer at Cloyes in 1963. I have not talked to him in many years. I just know he remainded a classy person till the end. I'm sure God now has reunited him with your mother for eternal happiness.
