Dr. Gabbard and Staff
My mother spent one night at St. Andrews back in March. Mrs. Noble Vance was so very kind to us, especially to Mother....she really tried to make her welcome as she knew my brother, Marvin Lee from Guy. I will never forget her kindness. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
Leslie & Mary, Sandra & Pedro, William & Glenda, and all of the family: I"m so sorry that I didn't read the paper sooner today. I certainly would have been with you had I known. Mrs. Noble was a funny lady and a true friend to me and my whole family. It just won't be the same without her back-slapping hugs and infectious laugh. May she be "mean as ever" in her own wonderful way until the day we're all united again. My forever love and sympathy to you all. Eric

She must have been some kind of a lady, I KNOW IN REASON SHE WAS, BECAUSE SHE LEAVES BEHIND A WHOLE SLEW OF GOOD THORN KIDS.
