Sula Faye ''Sis'' Appleton, 89 of Paris, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at her home. She was born on December 27, 1922 in New Blaine, Arkansas to her parents James Wallace and Dorotha Faye (Robinson) Davis. She was a retired supervisor from Northwestern Glass in Seattle, Washington and of the Baptist Faith.
Sula is preceded in death by her husband Edgar Lee Appleton Sr., her parents James and Dorotha Davis, two sons; Edgar Lee Appleton Jr. and Harlan Fay Appleton, seven brothers; Roy, Joe Bill, Bob, Billy, Glendle, Johnny, and Danny Davis and one great granddaughter Rose Mosley.
Sula is survived by one daughter Barbara Appleton of the home, one son Tom Appleton of Seattle, Washington, one sister Betty Gregory of Stover, Missouri, seven grandchildren; Michael Appleton, Gary Appleton, Kimberly Banks, Amy Stockle, Janie Mosley, Jaime Nelson and Jodi Arrera, ten great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00 p.m., on Sunday, July 8, 2012 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris
Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Monday, July 9, 2012 at Elizabeth Hall Cemetery in New Blaine, Arkansas under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.
So sorry for your loss. My brother Loyd Apptleon use to stay with them some after my Mom passed... Edgar is my Uncle, Doc was my Dad. I know she will be missed,,,Sweet lady
