James Dickson, 81, of Batesville, died Saturday, June 30, 2012.
Born October 5, 1930 in Newark, Arkansas, he was the son of Willis and Amelia (Perry) Dickson.
He was the plant manager for American Light and Lantern Company for 30 years at Newport. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors include his grandson, Mason Dickson of Bentonville; three nieces: Sandy Francis of Batesville, Brenda Styles and Susan Wallace both of Benton; Great-nieces and great-nephews: Kyle Francis, Brook Ragsdale, Austin Styles Shannon Newton, Austin Samples and Lindsey Daigle.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Alice Dickson; a son Lee Dickson; and two sisters: Ella Fern Austin and Darlene McClain.
Cremation services are by Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville.
