Sarita Sue Noble

of Valley City, ND

August 4, 1933 - May 16, 2012

Sarita Sue Noble, 78 from Valley City, North Dakota went to her heavenly home in the early morning hours of Wednesday, May 16, 2012. She was born August 4, 1933 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Floyd and Edna (Crudgington) Noble.
Sarita attended Mount Saint Mary's academy and worked for Pilot Life insurance company. She married Clinton Brown and traveled with him during his military career. Coming back home to Little Rock; they had one daughter, Jennifer.
Sarita moved to North Dakota in 2008 to be closer to her daughter and grandson. She cherished her time with her grandsons and great-granddaughters, who knew her as Mimi. Sarita did not like the cold winters in North Dakota but loved the milder seasons so she could spend time on the farm with family and watch the local wildlife and farm animals. She enjoyed her mornings sitting on the porch overlooking the barn yard with a hot cup of coffee listening to a choir of birds serenading her from the treetops. She always greeted the farmers on the way to the field with a wave and welcomed visits from the farm cats.
Sarita enjoyed making jewelry, knitting and various arts and crafts she created for her family and friends. She never went anywhere without her word search book and her pack of cigarettes, that way she would always be prepared to help pass the time if need be.
Sarita (Mimi) will be deeply missed and remembered always by her daughter, Jennifer and her three grandsons: John (Valerie) Pickard of Fort Stewart, Georgia, Anthony (Nicole) Pickard of Valley City, North Dakota and James Pickard of Conway, Arkansas; 2 great-granddaughters, Autumn Elizabeth and Willow Rose both of Valley City, North Dakota; 1 brother, Keith Noble of Jamestown, North Dakota as well as many friends and extended family. Sarita was preceded in death by her parents; her former spouse, Clinton Brown; and her sister, Anita McQuiston.
A memorial service will be held at the Roller-Chenal Funeral Home,(501)224-8300 in Little Rock on Friday, May 25, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. followed by burial at Mount Holly cemetery in Little Rock. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the memorial service.

My aunt Sue loved to laugh and chat. She had a hardy laugh and was quick to share it. She was a very loving person who connected with people wherever she went. After my mother died (her sister) the only person that made me feel a little better was Sue. She said the prayer at her sisters grave site and really took charge.
The Noble sisters are gone now and Little Rock Arkansas will never be the same. Bye Bye Aunt Sue. I love you
