Jo was my first playmate as we were growing up. She was 10 months older than I was, and I was always jealous because I wanted to be older. She was the cousin who was closest to my age and we always played together. We graduated from Sidney High School together on April 13, 1956. She was a sweet girl and I have enjoyed getting to know her again in the past few years. I will miss her very much.

What a wonderful aunt Jo we had. Her nice smile and her wonderful personality that she had. She always had away with words and the respect for others. She will be missed by all of her family. She was a funny, fun respectful lady that I will miss talking on the phone with. I will pray she will be up in heaven with grandma and grandpa Cole and my daughter having a blessed time chatting about everything. She never meant my daughter but she had pictures of her. I remember times at grandma's for Christmas we all had a wonderful time talking and just having fun with family members. I will miss all of the cards for Christmas and birthdays that I received every year. I wish you all well. Rest in peace my aunt Jo. I have a Poem to share with you. WHEN i AM GONE, RELEASE ME LET ME GO I HAVE SO MANY THINGS TO SEE AND DO. YOU MUSTN'T TIE YOURSELF TO ME IN TEARS, BE HAPPY THAT WE HAD SO MANY YEARS. i GAVE YOU MY LOVE. YOU CAN ONLY GUESS HOW MUCH YOU GAVE ME IN HAPPINESS. I THANK YOU FOR THE LOVE YOU EACH HAVE SHOWN, BUT NOW IT'S TIME I TRAVELED ALONE. SO GRIEVE AWHILE FOR ME IF GRIEVE YOU MUST. THEN LET YOUR GRIEF BE COMFORTED BY TRUST. IT'S ONLY FOR AWHILE THAT WE MUST PART, SO BLESS THE MEMORIES WITHIN YOUR HEART. I WON'T BE FAR AWAY, FOR LIFE GOES ON. SO IF YOU NEED ME, CALL AND I WILL COME. THOUGH YOU CAN'T SEE OR TOUCH ME, I'LL BE NEAR. AND LISTEN WITH YOUR HEART, YOU'LL HEAR ALL MY LOVE AROUND YOU SOFT AND CLEAR. AND THEN, WHEN YOU MUST COME THIS WAY ALONE, I'LL GREET YOU WITH A SMILE AND "WELCOME HOME." AUTHOR UNKNOWN LOVE MELINDA
