Bobby Jean Wilkinson, 78, of Mtn. View entered into rest on March 10, 2012 in Mountain Home.
He was born July 29, 1933 in Sheridan, Arkansas to Carl and Vercie (House) Wilkinson.
He was an active member of the Foothills Baptist Church and a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He retired as program director of Arvac, Inc./Freedom House. Bob's prayer was that his children and grandchildren come to love and know the Lord as their Savior. He loved his canine children 'Lil man' and 'Burger'.
Bob is survived by his wife, Catherine; daughters, Mary Ann May of Mtn. View and Wanda Wilkinson of Dallas, TX; step-sons, John Frederick and wife Melanie of Pangburn and Robert Donaldson and wife Kim of Rogers; step-daughter, Christy Blakeman and husband Gary of Olathe, KS; grandchildren, Bobby Wayne Wilkinson, Derek May and Matthew May; five step-grandchildren and five step-great-grandchildren, sister, Mary Kelly of West Monroe, LA and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
Visitation is 5 8 p.m., Sunday, March 11, 2012 at Roller Coffman Chapel, Mtn. View.
Funeral service is 2 p.m., Monday, March 12, 2012 at Foothills Baptist Church in Mtn. View with Bro. Don Strait and Bro. Paul Lancaster officiating with interment in Flatwoods Cemetery, Mtn. View.
Pallbearers are Bobby Wilkinson, Derek May, Matthew May, Joshua Frederick, Gary Blakeman and Alex Reaper. Honorary pallbearers are Foothills Agape Sunday School Class, Dr. Andy, Charles Pfiester, Danny Benson, David Stull and Anthony 'Jim' Macri.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to: Foothills Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 860, Mtn. View, Ark. 72560 and Stone County Humane Society Building Fund, P.O. Box 485, Mtn. View, AR 72560
Roller Coffman Funeral Home, Mtn View is in charge of the arrangements.

Sorry to hear about the loss of Bob. It was such a short notice when I received the news that I was not able to attend the services. Bob and his family were very dear friends to me. I will always cherish the memories we had at Freedom House and as a friend. My Prayers are with the family, Cathy, Wanda Jean, and Mary Ann, etc.

Cathy, I am so sorry for your loss. I just heard this morning when I got to work. I am at a loss, I just adored Bob and enjoyed our many phone conversations. He will be so missed. My prayers are with you and your family.

Dear Family, We were so surprised when we read of Bob's passing in the Monday paper. Haven't heard from him in a long time. Hazel loved him like her very own and we are sorry we missed his services. Know a lot of folks from here don't know yet. We will keep Mary, Mary Ann, Wanda Jean and Cathy in our thoughts and prayers. Carl was so good to us and he loved his kids so much.
