Earnest Paul Turner, 60, of Mountain View entered into rest on February 10, 2012 at his home.
Earnest Paul was born May 15, 1951 in Mountain View to Robert Lewis and Reba Elnora (Stone) Turner. He was a member of the Non-Denomination Souls Harbor Church in Mountain View. He worked as a logger and heavy equipment operator. He retired from Unimin Sand mines. He loved music, playing his guitar and singing.
He is survived by his wife, Glenna (Johnson) Turner of the home; four sons, Darrell Turner, Danny Turner, Tim Turner and wife Shayleigh and Jeremy Turner all of Mountain View; five grandchildren, Nikki Lashae Turner, Shelby Lynn Turner, Emily Leann Turner, Rayleigh Troice Turner and Aceon Paul Turner; mother, Reba Elnora Turner of Mountain View; brothers, Wayne and Etta Lou Turner, Donald and Linda Turner, Robert Earl and Cheryl Turner of Mountain View and Daniel and Judy Turner of Prim; sisters-in-law, Bonnie Turner and Micheal and Marsha (Turner) Ehart and a host of nieces and nephews, family and friends and a very special pet, Ginger.
He was preceded in death by father, Robert Lewis Turner and two brothers, Harvie Lee and Charles Dean Turner.
Visitation is 6 9 p.m., Saturday, February 11, 2012 at Roller Coffman Chapel, Mountain View.
Funeral service is 2 p.m., Sunday, February 12, 2012 at Roller Coffman Chapel, Mountain View with Bro. Truman Bullard and Bro. Tim Clark officiating and interment in Mount Joy Cemetery, Mountain View.
Pallbearers are Brandon Turner, Gary Turner, Rickey Turner, Larry Turner, Joseph Turner, Jim Bob Turner, Jacob Turner, Derrick Turner and Henry Criswell. Honorary pallbearers are Mike White, Bob Apple, Glen Criswell, Johnny Brown, Delbert Johnson, Jack Banks, Bill Ray Turner, Steve Whorton and Dennis Smitters.
Roller Coffman Funeral Home, Mountain View is in charge of the arrangements.
