I met Mr. Raymon when he was in the nursing home. He was a friend to my father (Roscoe Adams). Mr. Raymon used to tell me stories about my dad and him when they were younger and worked together. He was such a very sweet and gentle man. I know that heaven gained another angel when he passed. He will be greatly missed.
Raymon Lewis Long was the great grandson of Isaac Long 1 and Rebecca 'Langston' Long. Isaac Long being the son of Rev. George W. Long 1 and Nancy Elizabeth 'Maples' Long., Tennessee. They were my ggg grandparents. Isaac Long was a younger brother to my gg grandfather, Maples Long. I have researched our Long family for years and have a great deal of information. I'm so sorry for your loss, I had thought that Raymon and I could meet someday and visit about our family and the history. May God bless you all. Kind Regards, Phyllis 'Long' Rhodes, a distant cousin.
I knew Raymon almost my whole life, he always made me laugh when I seen him. He was a good man, I know he is in a better place now.
Linda and family,
I'm so sorry to hear of Raymon's passing. He was such a sweet person, but now is reunited with Gladys and all the other wonderful saints that have gone on to Heaven before. I pray that God will wrap his loving, comforting arms around you.
