I was sorry to read about Cecilia's passing. James Daniel shared the obituary with my sisters and me. We remember Cecilia, who lived on Range Street and played with Marinda Allen Holliman, James and us.

I read with interest Marinda's note on the guestbook page.
My sisters, Susan, Cherie, Cara, and I send condolences to Cecilia's surviving family members.
Sincerely, Patsy Williams Itaya (MHS, 1966)

My extended heart felt sympathies to Cecilia's family. Expecially Chloe Ann . I just today read the obituary in the Marshall paper. I was so broken hearted to read my childhood friend, school mate , neighbor for most of my early life had passed away. She and I had just had the best conversation on the phone about a month ago. We had some of the best times in our neighborhood when we were kids. The most funny thing ever happned was when she was learning to be a beautition. She gave me an egg shampoo which we like to never have gotton out of my hair. Oh how we laughed!!! And some of the most comforting times was in the winter when I would go visit her at the house on Main street and we would sit in the living room around the big wood stove where her dad an mom ( Ed and Irene) would be. Ed would be on his two way radio sometimes, or we would just enjoy talking . I remember Chloe Ann and John Fred being there at times. Cecilia was loved by me very much. I will miss her.

I have such fond memories of Cecilia. She was always smiling and joy just surrounded her. She was with me as my mother left this world and made me feel not so alone. She will be missed by many..

To all of Cil's family,
I am so sorry to hear of her passing, but I know how sad she was after Satch passed and how happy she is now to be reunited with him in Heaven, and getting to spend time with our Lord and Savior, Jesus. She was such a sweet person and Mountain View, and anyone that knew here will not be the same without her. I met her and Satch at the Folklore Society dance, and they lit up everyone's lives that knew them. May God bless and keep you all and wrap his comforting arms around you.

Aunt "Gertrude" you'll always hold a special place in my heart. You were always the loud Great Aunt who said she was going to color my gram's hair the color of Ronald McDonald's. I know you're happy and getting to do the jigg with Satch in heaven. R.I.P.
