Ellis Louis Fulks, 71, of Onia entered into rest on July 31, 2011, in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Ellis was born November 29, 1939, to John and Drusilla Helms Fulks of Mountain View, Arkansas. He departed this life to go be with the Lord and family in Heaven on July 31, 2011, in Little Rock, Arkansas. He loved the Lord and loved to read his Bible. He was a member of the Pleasant Valley Missionary Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Betty Lawrence Fulks of Onia; son, Gary and Melanie Fulks of Alco; daughter, Sherri and Mike Smith of Southside, Batesville. Grandsons, Jon, Josh, Jacob, Aaron, Ethan Fulks; Grant Guthrie, Cruz Brattin, Tony and Greg Smith; granddaughters Cally Guthrie, Amanda Smith and Jackie Smith; great-grandson Luke Fulks; brothers Richard and Pam Fulks and Thurlo and Brenda Fulks of Mountain View; sisters Evelyn Patrick, Pat and Ronnie Kocher of Mountain View, Wilma Jean Lawrence of Houston, Texas, and Helen and Dexter Billingsley of Blufton Arkansas, and many nieces and nephews and other loving relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Drusilla Helms Fulks, brothers James and David Fulks; sisters Mildred Fulks Barham and Levada Fulks and nephew Billy Barham.
No visitation.
Funeral service is 2 p.m., Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at Roller Coffman Chapel, Mountain View with Bros. Gary Fletcher, Eddy Lee, Dean May, Junior Barham and David Campbell officiating with interment in Pordue Cemetery Onia, Arkansas.
Pallbearers are his grandchildren.
Roller Coffman Funeral Home, Mountain View is in charge of the arrangements.
Sherry & Cally, Just wanted you all to know that I am thinking of you during the loss of your Dad and Grandpa. I can see by watching the memorial video that your Dad meant the world to both of you! May God comfort you in the coming days and weeks ahead!!
