Lora Jean Younger Pilcher, 77, of Mountain View, AR entered quietly in to rest on Friday March 25, 2011 in her home in Mountain View. She was born on March 24, 1934 in Saint James, AR to Ervin and Rosie Marie Brooks Younger. For a period of time she worked as a Seamstress at the Blanchard Shirt Factory. For over twenty years she was active in the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Ladies Auxillary. She was a homemaker, loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, great-aunt and sister.

Lora Jean is survived by her sons, Glen Pilcher of Mountain View and Howard Pilcher and wife Susie Scales Pilcher of Saginaw, TX; grandchildren, Joby Leigh Scales and Richard Henry Pilcher; sisters, Geneva Tilley, Shirley Price, Sharon Adkinson, Willow Clements and Lisa Younger; brothers, James, John, Kenneth, Douglas, and Terry Younger.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, Ervin and Rosie Marie Younger, husband Ulys Pilcher; brothers, Junior and Clinton Younger; and sister, Verbalea Younger Passmore.

Visitation is 6 - 9 p.m., Monday, March 28, 2011 at Roller Coffman Chapel, Mtn. View.

Funeral service is 10 a.m., Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at Roller Coffman Chapel, Mtn. View with Rev.o. Bill Piker officiating and interment in Mount Joy Cemetery. Pallbearers are Devon Sanders, Bobby Mitchell, Billy Ray Turner, Kelly Robins and Rusty Clark. Honorary pallbearers are Marty Apple and Lance Apple.

Roller Coffman Funeral Home, Mtn. View is in charge of the arrangements.

Regina, Rosie and Terry and families.
I am so sorry to hear of Lora's passing. She was a nice lady and I know you will miss her. You are all in my thoughts and prayers, and I pray that God will comfort you all during this time. If you need anything, just call.
