I was so sad to read of Aunt Faye's death today. I am
granddaughter of Ewing Ward, Aunt Faye's brother. My
mother was Mary Frances Ward Davis and many times
she & I went to Optimus when I was a teen to visit Aunt
Faye and Uncle Carl and Uncle Joe and the cousins. As
adults, my sister (Mary Beth Davis Dean) & I visited Aunt
Faye at Optimus many times and loved hearing about the Ward Family and the history. She told the best
stories.
My deepest sympathy to all.

I am profoundly sad to hear of Aunt Faye's passing. I am a granddaughter of Ewing Ward, one of her older brothers. My mother (Ewing's daughter, Mary Frances Ward Davis) took me to Optimus several times, and also my sister Susie and I enjoyed visiting with Aunt Faye as adults when we would make the trip to what my mom called "the old home place" in Optimus. I loved talking to Aunt Faye and hearing the oral history of the Ward family. My deepest condolences to you all.
