Glen R. Burns, 67, of Mountain View entered into rest on July 30, 2010 in Mountain Home, AR. He was born on February 13, 1943 in Stone County, AR to Bob and Ruth (Turner) Burns. He was of the Baptist faith and operated a lay at Bowman's Handle Mill. He was a loving husband and father.

He is survived by his wife Onelda Teal Burns of the home, son, Tony Burns of Mountain View, daughter, Teala Halk of Mountain View and sister, Lois Avey of Mountain View. He was preceded in death by his parents Bob and Ruth Burns.


Visitation will be Sunday, August 1, 2010 from 7 8 PM at Roller Coffman Funeral Home in Mtn. View. Funeral Service will be Monday August 2, 2010 at Roller Coffman Chapel in Mtn. View with Bro. Tim Clark Officiating. Pallbearers will be Burt Turner, Doug Turner, Bill Ray Turner, Melvin Clark, Herman Dean Clark and Johnny Ray Thomas. Honorary Pallbearers will be E. W. Stewart, Thurlo Fulks, Larry Burns and Guy Buchanan. Burial will be in Mount Joy Cemetery near Mtn. View, AR.
