Clay Perry Clark, 84, was born on Feb. 5, 1925 at Alco, Arkansas to Jay and Francis Clark. He was a resident of Mountain View. He passed away at his second home in Palm Desert, CA on Jan. 27, 2010.

Mr. Clark is survived by his wife of 62 years, Marcell (Mc Daniel) Clark of Mountain View, AR; son Richard Clark and his wife Wendy of Palm Desert, CA; daughter Brenda Clark of Palm Desert, CA , granddaughter Renee Clark Nesbitt and her husband Bill of Mountain View, AR; grandson Jim Clark and his wife Sheli of La Quinta, CA; great-grandsons Trevor Sodia and Trent Sodia of Murrieta, CA; great-granddaughters Rylee Nesbitt and Cali Nesbitt of Mountain View, AR and Taylor Clark of La Quinta, CA; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers; Olen Clark and Doyle Clark and two sisters: Elymus Clark and Clara (Clark) Rose.

Mr. Clark owned and operated a Roto Rooter Service in California and in Arkansas for 25 years. He and his wife, Marcell spent the winters in California and the summers fishing in AR. He owned several fishing poles and fishing gear and loved to go fishing. He loved his family, animals, planting and tending a garden, and working with his son Rick, grandson Jim and two great grandsons Trevor and Trent in California.

Visitation is Friday, February 5, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Roller Coffman Funeral Home in Mountain View.

Funeral Service is Saturday, February 6, 2010 at 10:00 am at the Roller Coffman Funeral Home in Mountain View. Burial will be at the Alco Cemetery where his family is buried.
