Charlene, Dustyn and family-I wish there were words to say at a time like this that would make things better and take away the pain but I know from experience that those words don't exist. My life has been truly blessed because Kenny was a part of my church family. He always had a smile and a hug for me everytime I saw him. Our church will never be the same with him gone. May it help in some way to know that you are in our thoughts and prayers and may God hold you in his love until the pain subsides.

To my dear sweet Kenny, I will always remember the happy times when we were kids playing ball and riding our bikes all over Meadow Park. I am sorry I could not bring myself to attend your service, since the last time I saw you was at Adam's service. Don't worry about Tonyia there are many of us who love her very much and will stand by her always. I will pray for your wife and son, I know from experience they will need everyones prayers.

To Kenny's Family,

We are so sorry to hear of Kenny's passing. We knew Kenny back in the old racing days when he helped Glen Brown & Bill on the D-48 car. What good times we all had back then. Though it has been 20+ years since we last saw Kenny, he was never forgotten. We will forever remember him as one of those "special" people....which is someone who never met a stranger, was always upbeat, brighten up a room with his smile, gracious & was willing to help out others in any way he could. It was an honor & blessing to have known Kenny. Though our hearts are sadder today, heaven just got brighter. May the Good Lord be with you today & in the days to come.

Charlene,

You know I loved me some Kenny!! We stayed in touch throughout our battles with cancer. His voice always uplifted me and put a smile on my face. He was constantly checking on me. The last conversation I had with him, we both reminded each other about how much we had left to do in life.
I know Kenny is not hurting anymore. If there is anything I can do for you or Dustin, please let me know. I am here for both of you!

Dear Precious Kenny: Your voice may be stilled, but oh the memories. "Precious mem'ries how they linger; How they ever flood my soul...in the stillness of the midnight...echoes from the past I hear; As I travel on life's pathway; Know not what the years may hold; As I ponder, hope grows fonder; Precious memories flood my soul." I now know what that song meant. It was a privilege and an honor to help you along the way; just wish I could have done more. I see your smiling face, I hear your sweet voice and I will be forever changed because of having you in my life. Thank you honey for everything...you gave the most precious and treasured gift one can, that of yourself; love, support, caring and sometimes walking in where angels feared to tread. I will remember what we said and you always knew that I keep my promises. How lucky I am and how fortunate I have been to have had you to call my friend and brother. I love you precious baby (I know that you will remember that not everybody gets to be a p-baby). There are angels here on earth too, we call them friends, and we will be there for Charlene and Dustyn. So while you go about doing what angels do, rest assured that we will mind the store down here for you.

Charlene and Dustyn,

My heart is heavy for the both of you and I will keep you both in my prayers. For Kenny, we can't help to rejoice that a celebration is going on in Heaven. He is now pain free and has a glorified body and even though the pain in your hearts is heavy now, it will get better with time. God will comfort you both, he promises that. I read what others have said about Kenny and see that with age he never changed. He was always teasing and joking as a teen and young adult. Kenny was very special to me as a young person growing up with him at CVBC. I have such wonderful memories of Kenny as a young person. He was always so much fun.
Again Charlene, you and Dystyn remain in my prayers and if I can help you in any way just call on me.

Charlene & Dustyn, Words could never express the sadness I feel in my heart.! Yet, I must "BELIEVE" that we should be rejoicing for Kenny because he "IS" a Child of God! It gives me comfort knowing that Kenny is spending eternity in Heaven, but I'm sure gonna miss his Sweet Smile, Kind Words, his Sense of Humor, & his strong Christian Spirit! I am so glad we got to share that spirit on many occasions. I have many wonderful memories of Kenny and you and Dustyn that I will Cherish forever. Heaven is just a little bit sweeter now...
