Martha Carreiro Barrett, 54, of Batesville passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2018.
She was born in Chicago, Illinois to Jose Carreiro II and Annalee (Burge) Carreiro on October 7, 1963.
Martha enjoyed serving her God, being with her family, working with children, and music.
She is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Paul David Barrett; her mother, Annalee Carreiro of Cave City; two daughters, Emily Barrett of Ann Arbor, Michigan, Lindsey Barrett of Conway; two brothers, Jody Carreiro (Debbie) of Little Rock, Abel Carreiro ( Racheal) of Burke, Virginia; one sister, Jennifer Carreiro of Jonesboro; and several nieces and nephews.
Martha is preceded in death by her father, one niece, and her grandparents.
Pallbearers will be Tony Austin, Kenny Gerhardt, Jonathan Goodwin, Benjamin Goodwin, Christian Carreiro, Jose Carreiro III, Philip Richards, and Glen McKay.
Honorary pallbearers are Phil Goodwin and Alex Magar.
Funeral services will be held at the Roller-Crouch Chapel in Batesville at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 16, 2018 with Brother Stacy Reed officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Batesville.
A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund 610 E. Main St. Batesville, Ar. 72501

I just loved cousin Martha. She had a wonderful laugh and a fun giggle. She made the whole room happy.
