Ella "Boots" Bullard

of Sulphur Rock, AR

May 23, 1922 - May 29, 2018

Ella "Boots" Bullard passed away in her sleep Tuesday, May 29, 2018 of natural causes.

"Boots" as her friends and family called her, was a resident of Vero Beach, Florida. She spent six months of the year on a family ranch in Sulphur Rock, Arkansas. She was born 96 years ago to German immigrants in Greenway, South Dakota. She moved to Michigan as a young woman, where she met the late Troy Bullard of Concord, Arkansas and was married June 21, 1947. Troy and Boots lived in Brighton, Michigan until 1978, when they relocated the family to Vero Beach, Florida. Later, they split their time between Florida and Arkansas from 1991 on.

Boots grew up in a very musical family and while living in South Dakota, she and three of her siblings would sing on the radio in Yankton, South Dakota. Boots loved to dance and enjoyed a good party. She was in the Fraternal Order of the Daughters of Mokanna as Troy was in the Masonic Order. She was also a member of the Eagles and Moose Lodge.

Boots is survived by her daughters, Patricia Ann Angevine of Vero Beach, Florida, and Tracey Lynne Estok (Fred) of Howey in the Hills Florida; son, Todd Lynn Bullard of Sulphur Rock, Arkansas; grandsons, Troy William Carter and Timothy Jay Angevine of Vero Beach, Florida; granddaughter, Erica Lynn Drum (Jason) of Parkers Prairie, Minnesota; and great-grandchildren, Jackson, Raegan, Audrey, and Katherine Drum of Parkers Prairie, Minnesota.

Boots was preceded in death by her husband, Troy by nine years; infant daughter, Katherine; infant grandson, Todd; as well as her parents and eleven siblings.

Pallbearers will be Jim Kellams, Josh Scott, Patrick Armstrong, Curtiss Hess, David Hites, Ramsey Morris, and Jeffery Armstrong.

Funeral services will be held at the Roller-Crouch Chapel on Monday, June 4, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. with Bro. Lee Dillard officiating. Burial will follow at Concord Cemetery.

Visitation will be Sunday, June 3, 2018 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

We were so sorry to hear of Boots passing. She was such a delight to anyone who ever met her and we are blessed to have spent the times we did with her and all of you. She will be missed by many. I'm sorry we were unable to see you at the visitation/funeral. You will be in our prayers as you all adjust to life without her. Angela and RIck Reed and family

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. She was a beatiful lady with a huge heart and thirst for life. As one of many classmate of Traceys that spent time in their home, she was like a second Mom to many. You will be missed and remembered always!!
