Don Kramer Sr., 85, of Oil Trough passed away Sunday, May 27, 2018.
He was born Wednesday, November 23, 1932 in Rosie, Arkansas to George and Sadie (Tucker) Kramer.
Don was a peacetime veteran of the army who enjoyed farming and watching his favorite team, the Razorbacks, play football and basketball.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years and 9 months, Benolyn (Baker) Kramer; two sons, Don ''Kenny'' Kramer Jr. (April) of Batesville, and Kelly Baker Kramer of Memphis, Tennessee; two sisters, Mildred Arnold of Rosie, and Mary Pankey of Oil Trough; three grandchildren, Katie, Kerri, and Kendele Kramer; as well as many nieces and nephews and other family members.
Don is preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, Coy, Jack, George, J.B., and Nelson Kramer; five sisters, Pearl Edwards, Della Wyatt, Gladys Cook, Ona Bannon, and Ernestine Franks.
Pallbearers will be his nephews, Max Edwards, G.L. Kramer, Conway Cook, Jackie Cook, Gene Cook, Billy Jack Kramer, Tommy Kramer, Bobby Jo Kramer, Steve Kramer, George Kramer Jr., Johnny Franks, David Pankey Sr., Joel Massey, and David Pankey Jr.
Funeral services will be held at Fellowship Baptist Church in Southside at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 30, 2018. Burial will follow at Egner Cemetery.
There will be no visitation.
Kelly, Remember all the good memories with your father, and be comforted in your time of loss.
Rest in peace my dear friend. I have missed you being at church since your health started failing. I know your in God's hands now and that is what we are all striving for in the end.

It has been a joy to have been a friend of the Kramer family for the past 25 years. I will keep my fond memories of my talks with Don and he will be missed.
