Sending love and prayers to all of you. I'm so sad to hear of Aunt Shirley's passing and even more sad that I can't be there with all of you during such a difficult time. Our family has always been so close, and Aunt Shirley is certainly one of those who worked so hard to keep us that way! She's faced many tough challenges over the years, and she always chose to do so with faith and a strength so few possess. I hope you all find comfort and peace in the beautiful memories she left us all with and just in knowing she's no longer hurting. There's no doubt to any of us that she's dancing with the angels and watching over all those she loved so dearly! Sending all my virtual hugs to each of you. Love you all!

So sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in the words spoken at John 5:25, 28,29
Most truly I say to you, the hour is coming, and it is now, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who have paid attention will live.
"Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice, and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment".

Shirley was such a kind, sweet, and funny lady. Her friendship with Mom was truly a special one. Mom thought the world of Shirley and I know she felt the same in return. I can just picture the two of them now sitting at the table with a big bowl of brown beans (and an onion of course)! Harlon, Laura, Amy, and families my heart is hurting for you and my prayers are with you.
