Margaret Kay Vickers, 71, of Centerton, Arkansas, formerly of Batesville, Arkansas, died Wednesday, November 1, 2017, in Bentonville, Arkansas.
Born August 23, 1946, in Batesville, she was the daughter of John E. Wood and Nola M. (Smith) Wood.
Kay retired from First Community Bank in Batesville after a 40-year career in the banking industry. She was a loving wife, caring mother, the fiercest grandmother, fun-loving sister, an amazing friend, and a perfect example of God's unconditional love on earth.
Survivors include her husband, Billy Jerrel Vickers of Centeron; two sons, Michael Vickers (Elke) of Bentonville and Chris Vickers (Thomas C. Underwood III) of Chula Vista, California; four grandchildren, Michael Tyler Vickers of Bentonville, Megan Vickers Pritchard of Kansas City, Missouri, Joseph Luke Vickers of Bentonville, and Tanner Clayton Vickers-Underwood of Chula Vista; one great-grandchild, Robert William Vickers of Bentonville; and one brother, Jerry Wood of Lee's Summit, Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Bill Wood and Bob Wood; and two sisters, Joyce Wood Nail and Delores Wood Qualls.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 4, 2017, at Roller-Crouch Chapel in Batesville with Troy Henley officiating. Music will be provided by Anne Davidson, Kathy Carter, Terry Moffitt and Becky Ransom.
Pallbearers will be Phil Wood, David Wood, Ken Smith, Jeremy Wood, Tracy McMahan and Ben Birkhead.
Honorary pallbearers are Jeff Wood and Jason Wood.
Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery at Cushman.
Visitation is from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, November 3, 2017, at the funeral home.

It was my pleasure to work with Kay for a time. She was such a joy, I especially loved her sense of humor. Much sympathy for you, her family.
I just lost my husband it's so hard I still cry he died Sept 15 2017 it's like apart of you is reaped out,but everyone tell me it get better I hope so because I can't take much more I love him and still miss him
