Cynthia Ann (Evans) Mundy, 53, of Batesville, passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2017.

She was born on March 8, 1964 in Harrison, Arkansas to Melvin Evans and Jeanette (Collins) Evans.

Cynthia was a Christian and always placed the needs of others before her own. She loved her family dearly.

She is survived by her parents, Melvin and Jeanette Evans of Marshall; her husband of 31 years, Michael J. Mundy of Batesville; daughter, Ashley D. Mundy (Clint Wilson Brown) of Batesville; one brother, Kenny Evans of Marshall; one sister, Phyllis Evans-Lavigne (Ken) of Batesville; nephew, Jason Bryant (Megan) of Batesville; two nieces, Torri Evans and Megan Evans of Marshall.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at Roller-Crouch Funeral Home in Batesville.
Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 pm on Wednesday evening at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in her name to C.A.R.T.I., 8901 Carti Way, Little Rock, AR 72205.

I'm so sorry to hear of Cynthia's passing. She was my daughter's, Tori Bales, teacher several years ago at the Cord-Charlotte school. I have no words that can truely express my sorrow for Cynthia's passing. May God watch over you in this time of pain and sorrow. She was a real blessing to the cord-Charlotte school and all those who were privileged to be her students. God bless!!!
