Ernest ''Jack'' Swaim, 93, of Batesville, passed away Saturday, July 8, 2017.
He was born on February 2, 1924 in Limedale, Arkansas to Clarence Newton Swaim and Margie (Fulbright) Swaim.
Jack worked at Arkansas Lime Company as a Kiln Mason and was also on the Cushman School Board. He was a World War II veteran in the United States Army. He was a member of Cushman United Methodist Church. He loved spending time with his family and pets. He enjoyed hunting, woodworking, and cutting hay.
He is survived by two sons, Jackie Swaim (Diana) and Michale Swaim (Cathy); three daughters Anna Shaw (James), Carolyn Jones (Johnny), and Shirley Jones (Tommy); one sister, Juanita Screws all of Batesville; nine grandchildren, Alex Shaw, Michelle Talley, Juanice Carr, Shane Swaim, David Jones, Kelsey Seaton, Brent Swaim, Jodi Eason, and Jason Jones; nineteen great-grandchildren, Aaron and Asa Carr, Trent and Carlee Swaim, Peyton Shaw, Shelby and Madison Kimmer, Ian and Eli Jones, Xander Brock, Hunter and Kendall Ivy, Luke and Sophie Seaton, Garrett Ballard-Jones, Ransom, Tanner, and Emma Jones, and Shelby Swaim; one great-great-grandchild, Alaina Carr.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Margie Swaim; his wife of 73 years, Anna Lee (Stroud) Swaim; two sisters, Erna Pickering and Edra Keller; brother, Earl Swaim; and grandson, Brandon Kimmer.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, July 10, 2017 at Barnes Cemetery under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home with Carl Hudson officiating.

Shirley, Carolyn, Mike, and families, may the Lord provide comfort and peace for you all at this time of loss in your very sweet and loving families. I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Mr. Swaim. God Bless you all.
We are so sorry for your loss and will keep you and your families in our prayers. Your Dad was a wonderful person, and you all were so very lucky to have him and your mom as your parents. We don't have to tell you how great he was. May God bless each one of you, we love you!
