Floyd Frazier, 89, of Floral, died Wednesday, May 3, 2017.
He was born in Almond, Arkansas, on February 17, 1928 and was the son of Ethan Gerome Frazier and Vinnie Gertrude (Houston) Frazier.
He was a freight truck driver for 19 years and then went to work in janitorial services at Midland Schools retiring at the age of 72. Floyd was a member of the Floral Baptist Church and was a mason. He was a sweet and strong man who loved his family dearly.
Survivors include his wife, Bernice Frazier; his sons Lennie Frazier and wife, Laura and Lanny Frazier and wife, Debbie all of Floral; five grandchildren: Natalie Floyd, of Searcy, Jarrod Frazier and wife, Courtney, Lindsey Frazier, Cody Frazier and wife, Kishia, and Cassidy Frazier, all of Floral; and four great-grandchildren, Olivia Floyd, Blakeley Floyd, Lainey Frazier and Lilah Frazier.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, J. R. Frazier, and a sister, Christin Frazier.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Frazier, Mark Frazier, Cody Frazier, Jarrod Frazier, David Johnson, and Roger Jefford. Honorary pallbearers are the Floral Baptist Church Mens Sunday School Class.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday at Floral Baptist Church with Bro. Mike Fowler officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
