Linda Boyce Queary Fairchild, 72, of Batesville, Arkansas died Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at her residence.

Born September 23, 1944, in Bethesda, Arkansas, she was the daughter of Carl William Queary and Frances Leona (Howard) Queary.

Linda was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, traveling, bird watching and spending time with her family. She was a member of North Heights Church of Christ.

Survivors include her husband, A. W. Fairchild of Batesville; three sons, Tim Fairchild (Janice) of Southside, Arkansas, Brad Fairchild (Allyson) of Searcy, Arkansas and Calvin Fairchild (Amy) of Bethesda, Arkansas; a daughter, Cheryl Ward (John) of Panama City, Florida; five grandchildren, Justin Ward, Timothy Weston Fairchild, Caleb Fairchild, Josie Fairchild and Ty Fairchild; two brothers, Melvin Queary (Barbara) and Tommy Joe Queary, all of Batesville; four sisters, Helen White of Conway, Arkansas, Nell Massey of Batesville, Louise Ethridge of Cushman, Arkansas and Brenda Mead of Batesville; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, James Queary; sisters, Velma Jean Carlson and Nettie Moser.

There will be a memorial service at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, May 7, 2017, at North Heights Church of Christ in Batesville with Alex Mills and Brad Fairchild officiating.
