Bill Gipson, 84, of Batesville died Friday, April 21, 2017 at White River Medical Center in Batesville.
Born August 4, 1932 in Randall County, Texas, he was the son of Sammy and Cassie Gipson.
He served in the US Navy and is a Veteran of the Korean War. He worked in automotive maintenance in the paint and body department until his retirement.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Irene (Neeley) Gipson of Batesville; sons, Billy Allen Gipson and his wife, Beth Ann, of Irving, Texas, Danny Lynn Gipson and his wife, Kimberly Ann, of Willspoint, Texas, Ronnie Lee Gipson and Scottie Rae Gipson, both of Batesville; daughter, Marilyn Elizabeth Gipson of Batesville; twenty-one grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two nephews; and two nieces.
There will be a service at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday at Roller-Crouch Funeral Home Chapel with Troy Henley officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Valley Cemetery at Cushman.
Visitation is from 9:00-10:00 a.m., Tuesday, prior to the service.
I am so sorry to hear of Bill's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Reading Rev. 21:3, 4 have always brought me comfort, and hopefully will do the same for you.
