I am so very sorry for the loss of this lovely lady. Gene and Sarah Matthews were good friends to my parents, Gifford and Jeane Boyer. I grew up admiring them for their devotion to their family, their church and their many friends.

My prayers and thoughts are with all of you. Growing up on Harrison Street, Sarah was a very special person in my, as were all of you. Some of my fondest childhood memories are of the store and all of you. Sarah had a unique gift of making everyone feel welcome and loved. My prayers are with all of you as you walk this path.

Sarah was my Sunday School teacher more years ago than I care to think about...she was hugely responsible for drawing me to Christ and it was her voice that told me how to accept His salvation. I so appreciate her example of a Godly woman - one that I've called on in my memory most of my life. What a blessing she was to me and so many. My deepest sympathy to her family, and my joyous praise to our Heavenly Father for her triumphant entry into heaven - I know she is celebrating there!

Aunt Sarah was a beautiful Christian lady. I have very fond memories of her. My dad loved her so much and I think they had a very special bond. Our love and prayers are with you all. We are there in Spirit.
