On Thursday, August 9, 2018, Kim Renee Martin Weber passed away from this life and into the arms of her savior Jesus Christ. A native of El Dorado, Arkansas, born June 6, 1968, the daughter of Billy Martin and Linda Sue Bell (Talley).

Professionally, Kim earned the admiration of colleagues and parents for her professionalism and exceptional knowledge in the field of special education. Her impact will be felt for generations to come. Kim was also a member of ASHA, Beta Upsilon, and "Book Club". Kim will be forever remembered and cherished by her husband of 29 years, Joe Weber of Harrison.

Kim loved and was passionate about many things in life. She dearly loved her job and working with children, they brought her great joy. When Kim wasn't working she liked the beach, enjoying a good glass of wine, and visiting wineries. Kim also had a huge love for music, and was a John Mellencamp fan. Kim was devoted to her family and they were a big part of her life. Kim's two special babies (Lucy and Piper) had a special place in her heart. "Kim was the most non-judgmental, selfless, loving person you could ever meet". Joseph Weber.

Kim is survived by her husband, Joseph Weber, her son, Joseph (Jennifer) Thomason Weber, and three grandchildren, Justis, Serenity and Hayden. Kim is also survived by her mother, and step-father, W.I., and her brother Kirk (Amy) Martin. In addition, Kim is survived by her dear friend of many years Julie Gleghorn.

Throughout life, Kim demonstrated unwavering strength despite the multitude of physical challenges she faced; accepting whatever life may bring with grace and dignity, Kim maintained her positivity and spark, and trusted The Lord's path every slow and labored step of the way.

Kim's family asks that you join the celebration of her precious life on earth and new freedom in Heaven.

This is heartbreaking. My daughter and son both had Mrs. Weber and we all simply adore her! I just found out today that she got her wings. I always felt she had wings that were invisible as she walked this earth. We were truly blessed with having known her.
So very sorry for your loss.

Kim was my son's first Speech Pathologist and later worked with me to make sure hearing impaired children in the Harrison School District had appropriate technology for learning. I will miss her. She was a dedicated professional and I enjoyed working with her.

Kim was one of the most ethical and genuine individuals I have ever had the pleasure to know. She always did what was right for kids, even if that meant her caseload was above what it should be. She had that rare ability to make you feel understood. Lives have been made richer by her short time on this earth. Hearts are heavy, but precious memories of her wit and caring nature will long reside with us.

My daughter Tyler latched to Kim while she was in kindergarten. We moved which caused us to loose her favorite person for over a year until she was reassigned in the same school she attended. It breaks my heart to hear of her passing. She always took the time in public to speak with my daughter and her siblings if we saw her. She was always so positive and outgoing. Connected with anyone through love and compassion for her job. She will be missed greatly.

I met Kim years ago while working for the In-Home Services division of the Arkansas Department of Health. Kim contracted with us and provided Speech Therapy for our clients when needed. I was the lucky one! Kim never met a day without a smile and her "pro"active mentality. Our paths crossed many times over the years and I was happy to call her my friend and always welcomed the hugs we shared. God Speed Kim Weber and may you now rest in peace! Meanwhile, we will sorely miss you, my friend. ~Lisa
