September 1, 1934 - April 15, 2018

Lucille Taylor, 83, of Harrisburg, formerly of Flippin, Arkansas passed away Sunday, April 15, 2018 surrounded by her family. She was born in Black Oak, Arkansas on September 1, 1934 to Henry and Clarkey Anne (Parrott) Smith.
Lucille was raised in Marked Tree, Arkansas. She married the love of her life, Jimmy, on April 29, 1953 and they moved to Lansing, Michigan where they started their family. After Jimmy's retirement in 1985, the couple moved back to Arkansas to enjoy the outdoors.
Lucille was a seamstress all of her life. She loved to sew whether it for work or at home. Lucille was an active member at Grace Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading her bible, camping, and teaching children. She will be dearly missed by all those that knew her.
Lucille is survived by four daughters: Judy Ann (Taylor) Ludington of West Minster, Maryland, Brenda Kay (Taylor) Keech (Mark) of Midland, Michigan, Bonnie Lou (Taylor) Martin (Mike) of St. Johns, Michigan, and Betty Sue (Taylor) Bell (Darrel) of Dittmer, Missouri. Lucille is also survived by nine grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, as well as a host of family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Annie Smith; her husband, Jimmy; two brothers: Daniel Smith and Doug Smith, and one sister, Louise Crawford.
A visitation will be held from 12:00pm to 1:00pm Friday, April 20, 2018 at Grace Baptist Church in Gassville, Arkansas. Funeral service will be at 1:00pm Friday, April 20, 2018 at Grace Baptist Church with Pastor Harvey Seehusen officiating. Graveside services will immediately follow at Baxter Memorial Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grace Baptist Church 97 Cotter Road Gassville, Arkansas 72635.
