Rosia A Grimmett

October 8, 1939 - March 17, 2018

Rosia Ann Grimmett, 78, of Paron, was born October 8, 1939 in Hugo, OK to John Alva Wade and Ida Glaze Wade. She had an older brother, Donald, and sister, Deloris. Her mother passed shortly after Rosia's birth, so Rosia was raised first by her aunt, Katie Glaze and later her Grandmother before living with her father and his wife, Sybal, and family. Rosia graduated high school in Benton, AR in 1958. She met her husband of 59 years, Roy Franklin Grimmett and was married on April 10, 1959. In 1964, she moved to Ferndale, where she raised three sons, Roy Mark, Forrest Lee, and Allen Franklin, two daughters-in-law, Marlana and Deborah. Rosia's grandchildren, Emilee & James Crowder, Taylor and Shaunee, Garrett, and Chadwick, and two great grandchildren, Caleb and Noah Crowder. She also had siblings, Donald, Deloris and Edith. Rosia lived a Christ-like life and dedicated her life and family to God. She was a prayer warrior and cherished dearly by her friends and family. Slow to anger and quick to forgive, she will be missed.

She has been preceded in death by her father, mother, step-mother, brother, as well as her son, Mark, and grandson, Taylor. She went to join the Lord on March 17, 2018 at 8:15 AM surrounded by her family.

Visitation will be Tuesday, March 20 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Roller Chenal Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, March 21, also at Roller Chenal Funeral Home. Burial will follow next to her beloved son at Cold Springs Cemetery in Paron.

So sorry for your loss may you find peace and comfort in the words spoken at 2 Corinthians 1:3 & 4" Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God

Dear Grimmett family. I am so sorry to have read of the death of Rosia. Please accept my sincere condolences. I would like to share something that I have personally found to be comforting. It is found in the Bible at John 5:28, 29 and Revelation 21:4. (Please read) May God give you and your family comfort in His promise that soon we will never experience losing our loved ones in death and we will be able to see them again once they are resurrected. With deepest sympathy and warmth of heart.
