Sarah F. Clifton, age 92, passed away Friday, October 20, 2017 at her home. Mrs. Clifton was born December 15, 1924 in Trenton, Arkansas to the late Jake and Ada Gilbert. She was a member of Lexa Baptist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Shirley Knight (Terry) of Lexa and Lisa Wallace (James) of Lexa; two grandchildren, Jimmy Knight, Jr. (Vivian) and Kevin Knight (Elizabeth); one great-granddaughter, Abigail Knight; one sister, Laura Mae McElwain of Brooksville, Florida and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Hubert N. Clifton; sister, Corine Person; and three brothers, Jake Gilbert, Jr., Guy Gilbert and Alfred Gilbert.
Services for Sarah Clifton will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 23, 2017 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena. Brother Adam Rowland will officiate.

So sorry to hear if the passing of Sarah. I remember her do well working at Lexa's grocery store. She always had a smile and a kind word. Such a wonderful lady.
