Dear Ford family,
I was so sorry to hear about Mr. Ford. He was a wonderful, kind and empathetic principal. It is a shame that all administrators are not cut from his mold. He touched so many student's lives during his tenure and we were all blessed for it. I have so many fond memories of him as I know you do. Let those memories console you during this time of grief.

I remember entering 7th grade at Plum Bayou and meeting this very tall man with a great smile. He actually drove our school bus a few times and I will never forget his kindness and that warm smile. Good bye for now. Mr. Ford.

Mr. Ford was "the best boss" I had. It was a joy working with him in Perryville School District. We usually had coffee each morning after all the teachers went to class. Mr. Ford, my Mom and I shared lots of laughs and good times over that cup of coffee. I appreciate the opportunity of knowing all the Ford Family and heaven gained a good man when J L Ford enter it. Prayers for peace, strength and grace for today and the days to follow. Love to all.

J.L. Ford was my principal when I worked at Marion High School. He was excellent with the students and staff. The parents spoke of him wth admiration for his honesty and fairness. His wife was a favorite friend of mine. May our precious Jesus be near to the family....may they be showered with God's peace and held by h
HIS grace. The Ford family will always hold a special place in my heart.

First knowing Mr. Ford as my Marion jr./sr. principal in 7th grade, little did I know I had met one of my lifetime mentors. As I followed a similar path as he in education, I would consider myself highly successful and blessed to have only a tiny percentage of the love & respect that J. L Ford has earned from all his former students, parents, teachers/staff & community members. And understand these words come from one Marion Spartan who learned some valuable life lessons "in the principal's office".
Rest In Peace, Mr. Ford. God is getting one of this world's very best.

I had the pleasure of living across the street from the Ford's in Bryant for years. And I could not have asked for better neighbors. He always had a big smile and wave when he was out mowing his yard and it would make your day. And if the neighbors got together outside on the sidewalk he would stop by and chat and see how everyone was doing. Mr Ford, you will be missed immensely. God has called one of the finest Angels of his flock. God Bless the Ford family.
