Ralph Llamas, Jr., 73, a resident of Subiaco passed away Sunday, July 16, 2017, in Subiaco.

He was born January 4, 1944, in Houston, Texas to the late Ralph, Sr. and Lori (Valdez) Llamas.

Ralph served as a police officer for 20 years in the Los Angeles Police Department. The last 28 years of his life he spent working his ranch and was passionate about becoming the great Horseman that he was. Ralph loved competition and in 2010 he won the Amateur World Palomino Show. He loved to teach and advise others about his passion for training horses. He was always so generous and selfless with his time helping anyone as they needed. However, Ralph's true love was his loving wife of 26 years and his beautiful family.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra Llamas of Subiaco; three sons, Randy Llamas and wife, Melissa of Garden Grove, Oregon, Jeff Llamas and wife, Kristy of Rancho Palos Verdes, California and Chad Blevins and wife, Keri of Fort Smith, Arkansas; three daughters, Tina Landry and husband, Robert of Tampa, Florida, Leslie Hancock and husband, Tommy of Isle of Palms, South Carolina and Christy Lea and husband, Brian of Arlington, Texas; 14 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 19, 2017, at the Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris.

The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday at the Roller Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Darrell Bridges officiating. Burial will be in Ellsworth Cemetery under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Cayman Blevins, Wyatt Blevins, Christian Lea, Donnie Case, Aaron Case and David France.

Memorials may be made in Ralph's name to the Ellsworth Cemetery Foundation, 12118 East State Highway 22, Subiaco, AR 72865.
