Thomas Joseph Ridolfo, Sr., age 78, of Cotter, Arkansas passed away Thursday, June 15, 2017, in Mountain Home. He was born September 2, 1938 in Chicago, Illinois to Frank and Beatrice (Wrobel) Ridolfo. Tom married Sharon Louise in Evanston, Illinois and they enjoyed 28 years of marriage.
Tom pursued a career as a mechanical engineer, working in the construction of nuclear power plants. Tom served four years in the Illinois National Guard as a Military Policeman. He was a man who enjoyed a variety of interests, displaying a love for the arts and hunting; for fishing and playing the violin. He was a renaissance man. He had taking his first flying lessons in the early sixties and he retained a passion for flying for as long as his health allowed.
Tom is survived by his wife, Sharon, of the home, one son, Thomas J. (Nicole) Ridolfo II, one step son, Kevin Scott Hedberg of Illinois, two daughters: Michelle A. (Peter) Keefe of Texas and Gayland Ridolfo of Illinois, and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Freddie.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 20, 2017, at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church with Reverend Norbert Rappold, Celebrant. Interment will be in Baxter Memorial Gardens.
