Elizabeth ''Liz'' Ramsey Frey, age 90 of Marshall, Arkansas passed from this life on Wednesday, May 17th, 2017at Highland Court in Marshall. She was born in Snowball, Arkansas on June 5th, 1926 to James Frank Ramsey and Lola Taylor Ramsey.

Elizabeth grew up in the Snowball and Witts Springs communities. After leaving home she went to Harrison to work in a garment factory, where she met her husband, Elmo Neal Frey. On July 2nd, 1951 they were married, and remained married for thirty-eight years until his death in 1988. Elizabeth spent most of her adult life in California. After the death of her husband, she returned to Marshall. She was active in her senior adult Sunday school class at the First Baptist Church where she was a member. She enjoyed attending church and especially enjoyed singing gospel songs. ''Liz'' was a wonderful, Christian woman and loved her Lord and Savior. She also enjoyed shopping, sewing and cooking. Her pecan pies were always a hit at family gatherings.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Elmo Frey, brother, James Ramsey, two nieces and two nephews. Survivors include her sister, Mildred Hardin of Gallatin, Missouri, brother, Homer (Patsy) Ramsey of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, sister, Gloria (Larry) Clingings of Marshall, Arkansas, brother, Charles (Donna) Ramsey of Franklin, Tennessee; along with a great number of nieces, nephews, family and friends who will mourn her passing.

Funeral services for ''Liz'' will be 2:00 PM Saturday, May 20th, 2017 at Roller-Coffman Funeral Home in Marshall, Arkansas with Bro. Phillip Clark officiating. Burial will be in Canaan Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Homer Ramsey, Charles Ramsey, Larry Clingings, John Richmond, Harley Tuell, Ron Lewis and Clayton Lesley. Honorary pallbearers will be the Nurses and Staff of Highland Court and Dr. Brian Blair.

Larry @ Gloria , So sorry for your loss Gloria . She looked like she was a good christian woman so we can take comfort in knowing she is in a better place and we can see her again someday if we trust in Jesus as she did . Prayers and thoughts for all the family . Your cousin Randy/Carolyn .
