Emma Sue French Fraser, 93, entered heaven Sunday, April 23, 2017. She was born October 05, 1923 to William Glenn French and Vera Jane Smith French in Bee Branch, Arkansas. Both parents died when Sue was very young and she was raised by grandparents, uncles and aunts.
On May 12, 1944, Sue married Joe Garner Fraser and they enjoyed over 71 years of mariage.
Sue is pre-deceased by her parents, sister, Verna Nell and her husband Joe.
Sue is survived by two daughters, Susan (Grady) Baker of Greenbrier and Lisa (Bob) Lamb of North Little Rock. Four grandchildren; Justin (Vicki) Baker of Jasper, TN, Jeff Baker of Greenbrier, Jeremy Baker of Little Rock and Cassidy Lamb of North Little Rock. Four great granchildren; Nicole, Brandon, Savannah and Haley and one great, great grandchild, Natalie.
Sue, as she preferred to be called, was a wonderful person who loved her family and friends. She was an excellent cook and loved to bake. She was a very talented seamstress making her clothes as well as her daughters.
Sue was a stay at home mom until 1968, when she became a teachers aide for Clinton Elementary. She had an extreme love and compassion for her students and loved meeting up with them after she retired in 1989. She spent her later years enjoying her family, having coffee with friends and was a constant inspiration to all that knew her.
Visitation will be at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Clinton First United Methodist Church. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm at the Church. Interment will be at Bradley Cemetery in Clinton.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Clinton, Arkansas.
My sincere sympathies goes out to the families at this time. Mrs. Fraser was my son's kindergarten teacher and her husband was a wonderful postmaster in his time. God Bless you all.

I am so sorry to hear of Emm's passing. What a wonderful woman. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Reading Rev. 21:3, 4 have always brought me comfort, and hopefully will do the same for you.
Susan , Lisa and families, I am saddened to read about your mother. We are losing such a fine generation of people, of which your mother was part, and she will be missed by many. I have always remembered her with love and fond memories. Keeping all of you in my prayers. Karla
I am very sad to read of Mrs. Sue Fraser's passing. I was fortunate to work with her several years at Clinton Elementary. She was a very special lady indeed. My sympathies go out to all of her family.

I am so sad at the passing of this amazing woman. All who knew her were blessed. What an inspiration she was to all who knew her. A true Lady who I am proud to call family. All of the family is in my prayers.
