I grew up across the street (S.Poplar in Ottawa) from Duane from 2nd grade through high school. We had many adventures throughout the years. During high school we were learning Morse Code and practiced with flashlights from our bedrooms -- until our parents found out! I have many great memories of Duane -- he was a good friend with a heart of gold. He will be missed by many.
I am so sorry to hear of Duane's passing. What a great guy!!! My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Reading Rev. 21:3, 4 have always brought me comfort, and hopefully will do the same for you.
God bless you, DAD CAMPBELL. you are truly one of the greatest men I ever knew. Miss you. Thanks for all you did for me.
Duane was just simply a really good guy. Glad I was able to attend high school with him.
Everyone likes Duane. I remember him most as a solid-as-a-rock football player in high school. Last visited with him at our 45th reunion in 2009. I'm sure he'll be missed by many. Rest In Peace, Duane.
So sorry to hear of Duane's passing. Duane was always smiling. Even with his health issues, he came to Class of 64 50th reunion in 2014 (thanks to his daughter) and enjoyed visiting with old classmates. Daune's family are in our thoughts & prayers.
