William (Bill) Carson Rhodes Jr. loving husband and father went to be with the Lord April 19, 2017 in Conway, Arkansas. He was born June 3, 1944 in Memphis, Tennessee to the late William C. Rhodes and Essie Evelyn Foster Rhodes. Bill was a 1962 graduate of Bartlett High School in Bartlett, Tennessee and a was member of the Bartlett United Methodist Church. He was veteran of the Army reserves.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years Nancy Milam Rhodes, two sons Bryan (Alison) Rhodes of Highland Village, Texas, Brent Rhodes of Conway, two daughters, Mandi (Brian) Wilson of Conway, Stacy (Robbie) Bean of Cabot, nine grandchildren Brody and Megan Wilson, Will, Luke, Hudson and Kate Rhodes, Coy and Larkyn Bean and Gwen Rhodes and one sister Mariam (Eddy) Smith of Chattanooga, Tennessee.
In the early 70's Bill moved to Arkansas to sell Municipal Bonds for Raney Brothers of Little Rock. After marrying Nancy, Bill founded Conway Industrial Supply Inc. in 1974. He was instrumental in founding the Faulkner County Emergency Squad. He was active in youth baseball in central Arkansas for many years as a coach and with Conway Youth Sports Association. Bill enjoyed hunting, fishing and RV traveling with Nancy. After his retirement from Conway Industrial Supply in 2015 he enjoyed time spent in Higden on Greers Ferry Lake.
Visitation for Bill will be from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Saturday April 22, 2017 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway with a graveside service to follow at 2:00 P.M. at Crestlawn Memorial Park on Highway 64 East. Memorials may be made to Young Life Ministries or KLife of Conway 1800 Hillman Street Conway, Ar. 72034

I am so sorry for the loss of Bill. Mandi I can not imagine what you and your boys are going through. He was a light in our office when he was there, so funny, telling stories about all sorts of things, mostly about his grand kids and going to the lake. He will be missed, hold onto the memories.
Sad to hear this, great memories from my youth growing up in the old neighborhood, Billy will be Bartlett Park kid always in my mind, will miss but not forgotten, peace to his family, Ronnie
