Irene Bonner Foree, 101, of Marvell, Arkansas passed away Saturday, March 18, 2017. Irene was born March 14, 1916 in Poplar Grove, Arkansas to Joseph O. Bonner and Iris Irene Bonner.
Irene is survived by two sons, Paul H. Foree, Jr.(Doris) of Bartlett, Tennessee and Edward Bonner Foree (Shirley) of Marvell, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Steven Foree (Angie), Jeffery Foree (Cybil), Kim Hill (Shane) and Melanie Dunavan (Matthew) ; nine, great-grandchidren; one sister, Donna Jo Culp of Marvell and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded by her parents, husband, Paul Foree, Sr.; step-mother, Annie Ruth Bonner; two sisters, Mary Alice Williford and Joy Wright; two brothers, Caraway Bonner and Oliver Bonner; one grandchild, Karen Foree.
Graveside services are Monday, Mach 20, 2017 at Eventide Cemetery in Marvell, Arkansas at 11:00 A. M. with Brother Justin Curtis and Brother Bob Harper in charge of services. Roller-Citizens has charge of arrangements 508 Plaza, West Helena, Arkansas (870)572-2571.
Heaven has a new angel! What a glorious life she led. Thinking of you all and the wonderful memories I have of sweet Irene.
Irene was always an inspiration and sweet friend. She had a wonderful christian joy that she shared. She will be missed. Thinking of you all.

We know everyone has to go sometime, but I am sobbing anyway. Miss Irene was a very special person in my life. She was my Sunday School Teacher for years and has been my friend forever. She was always glad to see me when I came home to visit in Marvell. She was always positive and upbeat and radiated joy, wisdom and love. I am sure there is a special place in heaven for her.
Thinking so fondly of Ms. Irene, who was one of my mother's closest friends. Please accept my most sincere condolences and prayers.

Aunt Rene was such a wonderful person and shared her love without conditions. She always made me feel welcome and a part of the family. I will miss her.
