John Robert Herring, 75, of Conway went to be with the Lord Sunday December 4, 2016. He was born January 13, 1941 in Martinville, Arkansas to Sanford William and Bonnie Rains Herring.
He is survived by his wife Martha Truelove Herring; children: Leslie Thomas, Robert W. Herring, Timothy C. Herring, Richard Jones, Billy J. Ruhland; 14 grandchildren; 5 great grandkids, nieces and nephews.
John was a member of Sunny Gap Baptist church in Conway Arkansas. He retired in the state of Arkansas Department of Education in the maintenance area where is worked for 30 plus year. He served in the U.S. Army in 1964-1965.
John is preceded in death by his parents, one wife, and one step child Brian K. Ruhland.
Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. Funeral will be Wednesday December 7, 2016 at 1:00 PM at the Funeral home with Burial following at Martinville Cemetery in Martinville.
