Patty Sue Ishmael, age 80, of West Helena, Arkansas passed away Thursday, August 25, 2016 in Little Rock. Mrs. Ishmael was born October 7, 1935 in Cypert to the late Hollis and Lena Stephens. She was a member of Cypert Church of Christ.
Patty is survived by two sons, Michael Ishmael (Nancy) of Bedford, Texas and David Ishmael (Liz) of Poplar Grove; daughter, Phyllis Wall (Tony) of Belt, Montana; six grandchildren, 18 adopted grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Hershel G. Ishmael; three sisters, Faye, Margarett and Betty Jean; and one brother, Sonny.
A graveside service for Patty Ishmael will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at Cypert Cemetery in Marvell. Visitation will be Monday evening from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Brother Mark Spencer will officiate.
Memorials may be made to Cypert Church of Christ.
Services will be directed by Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, West Helena, (870) 572-2571.

I was very sorry to hear of your mom's passing. She was a nice lady and I have a lot of memories playing at yall's house while we were growing up. Very sorry for your loss.

Oh we are really going to miss this little sweet lady at nursing home ! She had the sweetest smile & the softest voice & would always stop & speak to my Mom & Mrs Whitehead when she took her little walks ! Our thoughts & prayers are with yall the family & I truly believe she was a good Christian lady & stood up for what she believed in !

Sis. Ishmael was a very sweet and kind Christian lady, always had that pretty smile on her face. She will be missed by all who knew her. May God blessings be with all the family.
