Nell Burkett Taylor went to be with the Lord on June 27, 2016. She was born May 2, 1926, in Gravel Hill, Arkansas, the daughter of the late John Richard Burkett and Coyle Nolan Burkett. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Oice Taylor, two sisters, Nelda Angel and Jean Calhoun, and three brothers, Berthold Burkett, Hulan Burkett and Leo Burkett.
She is survived by a son, Robert Taylor (Janie) of Benton and a daughter Paula Taylor Bell (Steve) of Little Rock, three grandchildren Kevin Taylor (Angela) of Benton, Brooke Taylor Reynolds (Michael) of Omaha, Nebraska, and Taylor Bell of Washington, D.C., and 5 great- grandchildren Triston, Larkin, and Parker Taylor and Taylor Mae and Charlotte Reynolds. Survivors also include her beloved brother, John Burkett of Searcy and many nieces and nephews and other loving family members and friends.
Nell was a member of First Baptist Church of Searcy for 61 years. She retired from Adams Pest Control after 28 years of service. The greatest joy of her life was her family.
The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 30, 2016, at Roller Daniel Funeral Home in Searcy with Bro. David Crouch and Bro. John Greer officiating. Interment will follow in the White County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Roller Daniel.
The family would like to thank the loving staffs at Presbyterian Village and Arkansas Hospice in Little Rock for their compassionate care.
