Frank R. Miller, Sr., age 78, of West Helena, Arkansas passed away Monday, June 27, 2016 at Helena, Arkansas. Mr. Miller was born December 25, 1937 at Helena to the late Odie Lee and Mary Ada Miller. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and a Shriner and was a lifetime farmer.
He is survived by a son, Ricky Miller (Linda) of West Helena; daughter, Sandra Miller (Rhonda Shackelford) of Trumann, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Richard Cody Miller (Brittney) and Rebecca Leigh Dalton (Jason); four great-grandchildren, Charlie, Eli, Makynlee and Jett; sister, Jo Ann Carson of Heber Springs; and a nephew, Jarett Carson (Camilla).
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Phyllis Ann Miller; and a daughter, Donna Gayle Miller.
A graveside service for Frank Miller will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at Crestpark Skilled Nursing Home of Helena, Shelly Parson of Legacy Hospice and his longtime caregiver, Vikki White.
Memorials may be made to Arkansas Children's Hospital.

Sorry to hear about Frank. A few years ago, my sister (Opal & Robert Byrd) took Fred and me (Ida Mae White Chamness) to visit him when he was living close to the airport. That was the first time I had to see him since he and I graduated at Barton in 1956. One thing I will never forget, he sat next to me in one of the classes and he always wanted to borrow a pencil.
