October 10, 2015
Randy Evatt, 58, of Vilonia passed away Friday, October 9, 2015. He was born Wednesday, October 10, 1956 in Conway to Charlie and Martha Henderson Evatt.
He is survived by his loving wife Cindy Evatt; son Colby Evatt (Ashley) of Vilonia; daughter Brittany Thompson (Cody) of Vilonia; five grandchildren, Alexander Evatt, Briley Thompson, Avery Evatt, Creed Thompson, and Chloe Evatt all of Vilonia; his mother Martha Evatt of Vilonia; sister Barbara Benardini (Jim) of Peoria, AZ; four brothers, Raymond Evatt(Sandy) of Vilonia, Roger Evatt(Brenda) of Vilonia, Ronnie Evatt(Tina) of Vilonia, and Gary Evatt(Gayla) of Heber Springs and also numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends who all loved him dearly.
Randy had strong family ties, he felt blessed to be part of a large family. He was a loving husband and father. His pride and joy were his grand kids who, in return, affectionately loved their Pa. He loved spending time at the lake fishing, bird hunting and working on his cattle operation. He worked pouring concrete for over forty years. Randy enjoyed the work and the people that he came into contact with. He was especially thankful for the employees that worked with him and helped make his business a success.
He was preceded in death by his father and son Ross Evatt.
Funeral service will be 10:00am Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at United Fellowship Church in El Paso with Brother Joe Engdahl officiating. Interment will follow at the Vilonia Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6:00pm to 8:00pm Monday, October 12, 2015 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway.
My heartfelt condolence to the family. Death was not God's purpose for us. The Bible tells us that the man Job lost all his children to the enemy death and asked God, "If a man dies can he live again?" (Job 14:14). Jesus answered Job's question at John 5: 28, 29 by telling us that our loving merciful God has promised to bring our dead loved ones back to life again. He demonstrated his ability to raise people from the dead when he brought back to life his friend, Lazarus. Yes, Lazarus was resurrected back to his “earthly” home. (John 11:11-14; Psalms 37:10,11) What a wonderful blessing from our heavenly Father (Psalm 83:18). We can put our faith and trust in God’s word because God does not lie. (Numbers 23:19)
Love you all. Deepest condolences for you guys, You have been in our thoughts and prayers.
