Audrey May Farmer of Mayflower went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 27, 2015. She was born October 28, 1926, in Faulkner County, Arkansas to the late William Edwards Shirley and Ella May Martin Shirley. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Farmer; one daughter, Mary Jo Kimbrell; one son, Larry Kimbrell; four sisters, Mabel Shirley Mathis, Inez Shirley Mathis, Odean Shirley Mathis, and Patsy Shirley Eagle; four brothers, Olin Shirley, Bill Shirley, Windle Shirley, and Jack Shirley.
Audrey worked 26 years for Timex before retiring. In retirement she loved to spend her time fishing.
She is survived by four grandchildren, Michael Kimbrell (Julie) of Vilonia, Billy McCoy (Caren) of Germantown, Tennessee, Amanda Kimbrell of Mayflower, and Rebecca Cochrane; one niece, Linda Fowlkes (Ronnie) of Vilonia; and five great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Graveside service will be 10:00 am Thursday, July 30, 2015 at Oak Bowery Cemetery in Conway. Visitation will be at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Conway on Wednesday from 5-7 p.m.
